Thousands Shia pilgrims trapped at Quetta; waiting for government NOC

Thousands of Paksitani Shia Muslims have been trapped at Quetta, who are on way to mourn Ashura in Iran and Iraq. The pilgrims are waiting for NOC from government of Pakistan, The Shia Post reports.

Over 2000 Shia pilgrims including women and children in 75 buses have been trapped in Balochistan’s capital city of Quetta.

Among the pilgrims hundreds of those who have been waiting since October 5.

The pilgrims are from different Parts of the country including Sindh, Punjab and KPK Province.

The pilgrims have determined to attend Ashura in Holy cities of Mashad, Qom, Karbala, Najaf. Kadmain and others.
