Huge blast rocks holy shrine in Sehwan, 85 martyred, 400 injured; ISIS claims responsibility

A huge blast rocked the holy shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s in Sehwan on Thursday, The Shia Post reports.

The explosion took place at the under the tomb of the shrine, where the pilgrims were praying duas.

According to reports 76 of pilgrims have been martyred and about 250 have been injured including women and children.

Takfiri terrorist group of ISIS has claimed the responsibility.

There were no rescue and ambulance services available and those wounded were crying out for help as the injured were being transferred to nearby medical facilities in private vehicles.

Sehwan is 132 kilometers away from Jamshoro and around 140 kilometers from Hyderabad.
