Syrian army advances in Raqqa countryside, kills large number of ISIL terrorists

The Syrian army regained control over several areas in Raqqa western countryside and a 30-kilometer area on Euphrates river’s bank, killing a large number of ISIL terrorists.

The Syrian Air force carried out on Wednesday intensive airstrikes targeting ISIL positions and movements in the southeastern countryside of Raqqa.

The Syrian army frustrated an attack carried out by ISIL terrorists accompanied by vehicle rigged with explosives on a military post in al- Shoumariyeh Mountains, 70 km east of Homs city.
