MWM, SUC, JSO denounces police torture on peaceful ISO rally

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Wahdat Youth, Shia Ulema Council and Jafria Students Organization have condemned the teargas shelling and baton-charge on the peaceful protesters of the Imamia Students Organization rally in Karachi.

“Brutal police action against the peaceful students of the ISO is nothing but state-sponsored terrorism. Sindh Chief Minister and IG Police should take action against the involved cops,” Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari demanded in his reaction to the police shelling and arrest of innocent students. 

He said that the US President Trump had challenged entire Pakistani nation by threats and blackmailing tone in his new strategy regarding Afghanistan and South Asia in which he hurled accusations against Pakistan over its failure.

Allama Nazir Hussain Taqvi, a leader of Shia Ulema Council has excoriated the brutal police action against the peaceful students of Imamia Students Organisation in Karachi when they staged a rally to register protest outside the US Consulate.

He expressed solidarity with the peaceful protesters of the ISO rally and made it clear that ISO youths were patriot and loyal sons of Pakistan and SUC backed them in their peaceful protest against the unjustifiable anti-Pakistan policy of the United States Trump administration.

He said that if the police didn’t release the illegally arrested ISO youths, he would lead a sit-in on main MA Jinnah Road.

Lahore Division leaders of Jafaria Students Organisation have expressed solidarity with the Imamia Students Organisation against the police brutal action to disperse the peaceful rally of the ISO in Karachi that was being staged against the anti-Pakistan policy of the United States.

Fakhar Abbas Butter, President and Tauqeer Hussain Awan, general secretary JSO Lahore Division, condemned the police teargas shelling and baton charge on the peaceful ISO protesters in Karachi.

“Karachi was wearing a look of the occupied Srinagar when police brutally tortured male and female students of the ISO,” their statement said.

They denounced the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari saying that on the one hand, he made statement against US administration and on the other his party’s provincial government used disproportionate force to deny youths their legitimate Constitutional right of peaceful protest against the anti-Pakistan US administration.

They vowed that entire Pakistani nation is united against the anti-Pakistan US administration and they would crush all conspiracies against Pakistan.

“Trump’s malicious propaganda against Pakistan evoked a just reaction from loyal sons of Pakistan. All patriot Pakistanis such a ISO youths have come out on streets to register their protest against the Trump administration and it was their Constitutional and legal right to do so,” he said.

Allama Mukhtar Imami, spokesman for MWM, Meesam Abidi, MWM Karahci secretary general and the head of Wahdat Youth Karachi chapter also condemned the torture of peaceful youths of ISO. They expressed solidarity with ISO and assured all out support.
