PPP to raise the issue of Nasir Shirazi at Parliament, Sindh Assembly: Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari told the MWM chief and deputy chief that his party’s legislators would raise the issue of kidnapping of Nasir Shirazi at the bicameral Parliament and at the provincial assemblies.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari and Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen called on him at the Bilawal House in Lahore.

Bilawal said that the abduction of MWM deputy secretary general Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi was an unconstitutional and illegal move and Punjab government was responsible for it.

Bilawal said that PPP’s legislators would demand release of Nasir Shirazi at the forum of National Assembly, Senate, Sindh Assembly, etc.

Allama Raja Nasir said that remnants of model dictator General Zia had destroyed Pakistan by victimizing political opponents and promoting anti-Pakistan agenda. He said that democratic forces should counter the tyrannies of the PMLN government.
