Hundreds of thousands rally on Al-Quds day across Pakistan

Hundrds of thousands people across Pakistan participated in the rallies in solidarity with Palestinian people, to condemn the illegal occupation of Israel.

The central rally was organized by Imamia Students Organization in metropolitan city of Karachi on Friday 23rd Ramdan (Today).

The participants including large number of women and children also chanted slogans against the Israel, America and India. The participants also burnt the flags of Israel and the US.

An Al-Quds rally was taken out from the Numaish Chowrangi to the Tibbat Centre, with marchers vowing to keep on observing the day till the liberation of Palestine.

The similar rallies were witnessed in Islamabad, Lahore, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Larkana, Quetta, Nawashah, Rawalpindi, Gilgit Baltistan and Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad in which the clerics from different sects, members of student organisations, social and political personalities took part.

Speaking on the occasion, Ansar Mehdi said that the United States had shifted its embassy in Jerusalem which hurt the sentiments of the Muslims. “The so called Muslim rulers should be ashamed as they have kept a mum on this serious issue,” he added.
