Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari hosted an Iftar party in honour of the ambassadors and of Muslim countries and political leaders in Islamabad where many diplomats and politicians attended.
Speaking on the occasion, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, urged the governments of the Muslim countries to resolve their disputes by peaceful means through dialogue. He said bilateral talks should be held to end disputes.
He called for an inclusive alliance of Muslim countries was needed to guarantee durable peace and prosperity across the world, let alone this region.
“MWM is in favour of unity of the entire Muslim Ummah including the governments and with unity they can play key role in the world affairs,” he said, adding that their disunity has encouraged others to perpetrate oppression against Muslims such as being witnessed in Myanmar and Occupied Kashmir. He said Palestinians were also suffering due to Zionist crimes against humanity.
He lamented that some Muslim countries too use force against fellow Muslims instead of talks to resolve differences. He also lauded the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s role in the region.
