Shireen Mazari criticizes caretaker government for lifting ban on ASWJ

Renowned scholar, politician and former legislator Shireen Mazari has lambasted the caretaker government for lifting ban on the notorious (Deobandi takfiri) terrorist outfit ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba), mother wing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Mazari, who hails from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, expressed her anger over the insane decision of the caretaker government via twitter.

She said it was not job of the caretaker government to take decision on such important and sensitive matters because caretakers’ job is limited to day to day government affairs. She was astonished that the decision was announced on the day when global watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was reviewing the Pakistan’s file and finally put Pakistan in the grey list for deficiencies in the Pakistan’s counterterrorism financing measures.

Shireen Mazari, herself a scholar on international issues and parliamentary affairs, lamented the ‘wisdom’ of caretaker government.
