Europe-based Iranian students urged to contribute in making country self-reliant

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has urged the Iranian students studying in Europe to contribute to efforts aimed at developing Iran and making the country independent of foreign states.

Ayatollah Khamenei made this appeal in his recent message to the 53rd meeting of the Union of Islamic Student Association in Europe (UISAE) in the Islamic centre in Hamburg.
‘We all know that you, the youth, are among the most important sources of hope for the future of the country,” he said, adding that “Everyone should know that a large number of students are doing huge tasks in the country and are deeply feeling the joy of serving the country to gain knowledge and technology.”
He said that today Iranian university students, studying anywhere in the world, would have the opportunity to join their pious and devoted peers to make the country independent of foreigners. He said that they could be the leaders and pioneers of this campaign.
