Prime Minister Imran Khan has spoken to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding India’s illegal action in occupied Kashmir.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two leaders spoke over the phone on Tuesday. “During the call, they discussed the development of the situation in the region and efforts exerted towards it,” the agency reported.
“HRH the Crown Prince was also briefed by the Pakistani Prime Minister on the latest developments in Kashmir.”
On Monday, New Delhi revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir by abolishing Article 370 of the Indian constitution.
In the wake of India’s illegal step, Pakistan has initiated efforts to gain diplomatic support against New Delhi.
Apart from Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other top diplomats, PM Imran has also been an active part of Islamabad’s diplomatic outreach efforts.
