Covid-19 cases cross 100,000 in Pakisatn as govt stands by its ‘smart lockdown’

Pakistan’s Covid-19 cases have crossed 100,000 as Sindh reported 1,744 new infections. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 8,119 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, out of which 1,744 came back positive, taking the provincial tally to 38,108.

According to Sindh government spokepserson Murtaza Wahab, 1,744 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The new cases takes the provincial tally of positive cases to 38,108 and the nationwide toll to 100,687.
