Yemeni armed forces release footage of ‘Magic Seas’ sinking after attack

Yemen’s armed forces have released footage of the boarding and sinking of the ship Magic Seas, whose owning company violated the Yemeni ban on Israel-bound vessels.

The footage shows the ship’s crew refusing to respond to calls and warnings from the naval forces before military action is taken against them.

The scenes reveal the moment the Magic Seas was targeted by unmanned naval boats, followed by a raid by the Yemeni Special Forces, leading to the sinking of the ship.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, said on Monday, “We will not hesitate to use appropriate force to prevent any ship belonging to this company that has dealt with the Zionist enemy and violated the ban on entry to occupied Palestinian ports.”
