Agha Ali Rizvi re-elected as the President of MWM Gilgit-Baltistan

Agha Ali Rizvi has once again been elected as the President of MWM Gilgit-Baltistan with a large majority.

The two-day provincial organizational convention of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) was held in Gilgit, in which all unit officials of the party presented their performance reports.

Intra-party elections were held on the second day of the convention. In the elections, the Electoral College exercised its right to vote. As a result of the elections, Syed Ali Rizvi was elected as the provincial president of MWM Gilgit-Baltistan with a large majority.

Besides Syed Ali Rizvi, Sheikh Nayyar Abbas Mustafavi and Arif Qabnari were also candidates for the provincial presidency.

Local journalists and notables also observed the transparency of the elections organized by the MWM Election Commission. A separate booth was arranged for secret balloting, while all other processes were completed in front of the camera.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Vice Chairman of MWM Pakistan, congratulated the newly elected president and administered the oath to him. Asad Abbas Naqvi, Secretary of Politics of MWM, also congratulated Agha Ali Rizvi on his success.
