Hezbollah’s Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed on Palestine: A Battle for Honor and a Massacre Against Humanity

The head of the Political Council in Hezbollah, Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed, affirmed that the battle of “Uli al-Ba’s” (Those of Great Might) is a battle of support and victory, stressing that Palestine represents the honor of the nation, its dignity, just as it is the honor of Islam and its dignity, indeed, it represents the honor of humanity and its dignity as well.

In a special interview with Al-Manar TV, Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed pointed out that what is happening in Palestine is a described massacre that does not target the Palestinians alone, but is a massacre against all of humanity, emphasizing that this battle is a jihadist, religious, political, and ideological battle, and above all, it is a battle in the cause of God.

He said: “Yes, this description is correct, but in my opinion, we must realize that this battle, above all descriptions, is the battle of honor, the battle of dignity, the battle of the honorable, and the battle of the honorable people in this world. Whoever stood in the face of the enemy, in support of Palestine and its people, is at the forefront of the honorable people of this world, and everyone who took a stance, whether with weapons or words, is also at the forefront of the people of dignity in this world, and at the forefront of those who preserve the honor and dignity of humanity.”

Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed stressed that victories are not measured by the size of losses, but by the results, and affirmed that the resistance has succeeded in thwarting what the Israeli enemy sought to achieve.

He explained that the conflicts today are not limited to the region alone, but the entire world is witnessing multiple confrontations with different titles, sometimes military, and sometimes commercial, economic, or political, and these conflicts are accompanied by mobile threats here and there, at a time when the paths of settlements and political deals are advancing in more than one place.

He added that the scene in the region is not much different, except that the “gateway of the region,” which is Palestine, is still waging an open war, and it is not yet clear how this war will end, and therefore it is unknown to what situation the entire region will settle.

He continued: “This does not mean that we stand idly by or wait for how things will turn out, but rather that the stage requires us to be strong and active in confronting the successive data and developments, so that we are not swallowed by the major powers, or as it is said: the whales that control the fate of the world.”

Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed further stated: “I would like to reassure the brothers, the generations, and the youth, that in the Holy Quran there is what indicates the concept of continuous transformation and change, which is known in modern political terminology as dynamism. This term expresses in its essence the constant movement and continuous transformations, and it is a firm principle in the divine laws.”

He emphasized that “even if all nations conspire against you, do not despair, for change and transformation may occur at any moment, and this continuous movement is not defeated or overthrown, because it is a divine law, linked to the conflict between right and wrong, and this conflict cannot be decided in favor of falsehood, but rather the movement of change will remain alive, and may be decided in favor of right at the end of time.”

He concluded: “If we adhere to the law of transformation and change according to the divine methodology, then we will always be in a state of readiness, and we will not be overthrown by the apparent powers in this world, nor by conspiracies, nor by seditions, nor by various means of pressure.”
