MWM Leader Highlights Education Disparity, Urges Philanthropy at Jacobabad School Event

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, a prominent central leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, has voiced deep concern over the millions of Pakistani students still deprived of basic education due to poverty. He emphasized that education is a fundamental human asset and urged philanthropists to actively support the educational pursuits of underprivileged children, highlighting that “serving humanity is an act of worship.”

Allama Domki made these remarks during a book and notebook distribution ceremony at a local school in Jacobabad. The initiative, made possible through the collaboration of charitable individuals, provided essential educational supplies to ten deserving students from low-income backgrounds. The event saw the participation of other MWM leaders including Haji Saif Ali, Mir Munir Hussain Domki, and Jameel Ahmed, who joined Allama Domki in distributing the materials.

Addressing the attendees, Allama Domki underscored the transformative power of education, calling it “the ornament of a human being and the first step towards progress.” He stressed that societal improvement and service to humanity hinge on the widespread dissemination of knowledge and the provision of equal opportunities for disadvantaged children to advance.

He further elaborated on the religious and ethical imperative of public service and welfare, stating, “Serving humanity and public welfare is our religious and moral responsibility. Nations that educate their children are the ones that move forward on the path of progress and awakening.”

Mir Munir Hussain Domki lauded the initiative, recognizing its contribution to fostering awareness, unity, and a spirit of service within the community. The MWM leaders concluded the event by affirming their commitment to continuing such educational and welfare activities in the future, aiming to encourage more deserving children to embrace education.
