Pakistan fulfilled all FATF’s requirements, can’t be kept in any list: Defence Minister
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says Pakistan has fulfilled all requirements of Financial Action Task Force and there is no reason to keep it in any list.
On his social media X post, he said Indian and Israel have failed in their nefarious design to bring back Pakistan in Grey List of FATF.
The Defence Minister said International Cooperation Review Group of FATF at its meeting reviewed Pakistan’s progress and decided not to include Pakistan in Grey List.
He said China fully supported Pakistan for relief and Turkiye also endorsed China’s stance.
Khwaja Asif said Japan as Co-Chair of Asia-Pacific Group also fully supported Pakistan.
He said it is a big victory of Pakistan that despite relentless efforts of India and Israel, FATF did not include Pakistan in Grey List.
