Pakistani Muslims including civil society anger after Tariq Masoud insults commentators

Pakistani Muslims including civil society expressed great anger after a blasphemy statement by Deobandi (so-called scholar) Tariq Masood, who insulted the Quran and insulted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Tariq Masood, who preached “death for blasphemy,” has now himself come under fire over blasphemy allegations and is on the run to protect himself from the angry mobs.

An old video of him has surfaced in which he shamelessly uses foul language against the commentators during a debate.

When the scholar of Ahl al-Sunnah argued and said, “The commentators say this”, then this satanic Mufti Tariq Maaloon rudely said: “bharr mein jain mufasireen”.

A video of him went viral where he can be seen saying, “Why are you following Nabi (Mohammad, Prophet of Islam) when he did not know how to read and write?”

“The one (Mohammad) who is presenting the Quran (holy book of Islam), did not even write a single word and called others to write for him, which led to grammatical mistakes,” he added.

“No corrections were done because Mohammad did not know there were grammatical errors, which continue till today,” the Maulana said highlighting grammatical errors in the Quran.

Notably, the Maulana used to urge Muslims to kill anyone ‘immediately’ who disrespects Mohammad or Quran, without taking the case to court.

However, now he is advocating that anyone can commit mistakes but there are three ways of seeking forgiveness, which he has done and hence should be forgiven.

Interestingly, earlier he had said, “Even if someone has sought forgiveness, we can’t say it is from the heart or just from the surface and hence, he should be punished as per the blasphemy law.”

While being on the run, the Maulana is releasing video clips seeking forgiveness and appealing to everyone to understand his words in context.

This blasphemous phrase is an insult to those great personalities who understood the meaning and meaning of the Quran and conveyed it to the Ummah.

There is great anger among the people and the scholars have demanded the immediate rebuke of this cursed person and his removal from religion. It is necessary to remove such seditionists from the platform of religion and protect the Ummah from their evil.
