Pakistani Religious Leader Blames India for Regional Instability, Comments on Kashmir Attack

Prominent religious leader Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has issued a strong statement accusing India of deliberately disrupting peace in the region and employing various tactics to solidify its control over occupied Kashmir. His remarks come in the wake of the recent attack on tourists in the Pahalgam area of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as well as India’s subsequent accusations and the response from Pakistan’s National Security Committee.

Allama Naqvi asserted that India’s true intentions regarding occupied Kashmir have been revealed even within its own all-party conference, indicating a clear desire to maintain its long-term dominance over the disputed territory.

Commenting on the Pahalgam attack, Allama Naqvi condemned the killing of unarmed civilians as an atrocity that lacks any religious, legal, or moral justification. He stated that while such violence is reprehensible, it aligns with what he described as India’s historical practices, citing the ongoing oppression in occupied Kashmir as a prime example.

Furthermore, Allama Naqvi argued that the killing of Indian tourists in occupied Kashmir, despite the heavy presence of Indian security forces, highlights India’s own failure. He accused India of attempting to conceal this failure, a move he believes is not only concerning for regional peace but also indicative of an effort to perpetuate its control over the occupied territory.

In a message of national solidarity, Allama Naqvi emphasized that the Pakistani people stand fully prepared to defend their country. He stressed the importance of taking measures that foster national unity and consensus, asserting that success and prosperity are contingent upon such cohesion.
