Renowned religious scholar Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi has openly and proudly accepted allegations leveled against Iran’s role in supporting various groups across the Middle East, during a live broadcast program hosted by anchor Irshad Bhatti.
In the program, Bhatti questioned Naqvi about Iran’s support for groups such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Ansar Allah in Yemen, Hamas and Jihad al-Islami in Palestine, and Hashd al-Shaabi in Iraq, asking if Iran was playing a role in supporting these organizations. In response, Allama Naqvi accepted the allegations with pride, stating that Iran stands by the oppressed in countries like Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, in accordance with the teachings and will of its first Imam, Mola Ali (AS). He emphasized that Iran, by supporting the oppressed, stands as a “strong wall” against the oppressors.
Allama Shahenshah Naqvi further explained that while Iran is on the side of the oppressed, many other nations are aligned with the United States and Israel. He made a clear distinction, stating that the difference is evident: “One side is with the oppressed and the other with the oppressors.” He affirmed that Iran, guided by the will of Imam Ali (AS), remains committed to standing with the oppressed and against falsehood and oppression.
The statement underlined Iran’s stance in the broader Middle East conflict and its unwavering commitment to supporting resistance movements that fight for justice and freedom.
