Pakistan condemns unjustified, illegitimate aggression by Israel against Iran

In an unprecedented joint statement, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and North Korea have officially condemned Israel’s recent military actions against Iran, escalating tensions across the Middle East and beyond.

According to media reports, unofficial number of martyrs and injured in today’s terrorist attack by the Zionist regime in Tehran province has been estimated at 329 injured and 78 martyrs, Fars reported.

Pakistan condemns unjustified, illegitimate aggression by Israel against Iran

Pakistan has strongly condemned unjustified and illegitimate aggression by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said the Israeli military strikes violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and clearly contravene the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law.

He said Iran has the right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

The Spokesperson said Pakistan stands in resolute solidarity with the people of Iran and unequivocally denounces these blatant provocations, which constitute a grave danger and a serious threat to the peace, security, and stability of the entire region and beyond, with serious implications.

Shafqat Ali Khan said the international community and the United Nations bear responsibility to uphold international law, stop this aggression immediately and hold the aggressor accountable for its actions.
