Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi: America Eyes Weak Countries for Mineral Seizure

In a recent address at a ceremony in Lahore, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi criticized the United States for exploiting conflicts to seize valuable natural resources. He highlighted how the U.S. manipulated the Ukraine war to gain control over the country’s mineral reserves. Naqvi pointed out that former U.S. President Donald Trump had openly acknowledged that Ukraine is home to some of the world’s most valuable metals, including uranium, and that the ongoing war has created an opportunity for the U.S. to seize these resources.

Naqvi further warned that countries with weak economies, such as Pakistan, are now being targeted in a similar fashion. “America is eyeing the lands, mountains, and underground treasures of these nations,” he said. He noted that these countries, burdened by debt and struggling with economic instability, are vulnerable to U.S. pressure and manipulation.

Referring to Trump’s tactics, Naqvi explained how the U.S. first initiates trade wars, imposes tariffs, and then pressures these nations into surrendering their mineral reserves in exchange for sanction relief. Unfortunately, he added, Pakistan’s leadership appears to be complicit in this deal.

Naqvi specifically took aim at Pakistan’s Prime Minister, who has repeatedly praised his efforts to improve the country’s economic situation. The Prime Minister’s recent statement, suggesting that Pakistan could resolve its debt crisis by leveraging its mineral reserves, came at a time when an American delegation was in the country, engaged in negotiations under intense pressure.
