Yemenis Yemenis hold Rally in Sana’a

Thousands of Yemenis once again converged on the heart of the capital, Sana’a, on Friday, in a powerful demonstration of unwavering support for Prophet Muhammad, the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the beleaguered people of Gaza.
The massive gathering, a recurring sight in Sana’a, underscored the deep-seated religious and humanitarian solidarity felt by many Yemenis with these causes. Chants condemning perceived affronts to Islam and expressing solidarity with Palestinians under siege echoed through the streets, as participants waved flags and held aloft banners.
Organizers emphasized the importance of continuous popular mobilization to highlight the ongoing suffering in Gaza and to denounce any actions seen as undermining Islamic holy sites. Speakers at the rally reiterated calls for an end to the blockade on Gaza and for international action to protect Al-Aqsa.
The demonstration comes amidst ongoing regional tensions and serves as a potent reminder of the strong public sentiment in Yemen regarding these critical issues.
